Being in the retail/professional world of photography for 30 years I have witnessed many highs & lows. From film developing & printing days (1983) through many digital labs (1998) I was an early adapter of the digital world and graphic design.

Shutterfly/Lifetouch/JCPenney (1 company) is the main retail option today! Shutterfly brings an interesting component to the mix. The business services I offer, are similar to the retail model offerings, but why is this? I have managed and trained many photographer's in that arena as a corporate trainer.

Competition has been quite fierce with the local "professional's" in Greensboro. Thumbtack has more "photographers" than jobs before the closure of PI. So what is the future no one knows for sure it can be known as  the lost generation of children & families portraits. The next version of an AI technology can be an option, but it's anybody’s guess......
